Pulse-Receiving Characteristics of V-Dipole Antennas with Resistive Loading
نویسنده
چکیده
Pulse-receiving characteristics such as bandwidth, sensitivity, and fidelity of several V-dipole antennas loaded with a nonreflecting resistance profile are analyzed, taking into account the effect of parameters such as the linear resistance at the feed point, the interior angle of the V-antenna, and the terminal resistance load.

Circularly Polarized Log-Periodic Dipole Antenna for EMI Measurements
Two types of broad-band antennas are widely used for electromagnetic interference (EMI) measurements in the frequency range from 30 to 1000 MHz. Log-periodic dipole antennas (LPDA) are mainly used for the range above 300 MHz and biconical antennas for the range less than 300 MHz. These two antennas have linear polarization. However, EMI measurements can sometimes be more conveniently made with ...
متن کاملA Survey of Antennas for Ultra-wideband Applications (postprint)
The usage of ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is growing in many communication systems such as radar systems, communication and measurement systems and imaging systems mainly because unlike the other wireless technologies UWB is not restricted to using a narrow waveband and it has high speed data rate. The large transmission bandwidth makes UWB-based electronic device resistive to interferences ...
متن کاملSimulated Performance of Conical Antennas Using Matlab-Based Finite-Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Code
The need of ultrawideband (UWB) antennas with omni-directional coverage is increasing for both military and commercial applications (Wiesbeck et. al., 2009; Minin, 2010). The UWB radio technology promises high resolution radar applications, sensor networks with a large number of sensors for industrial or home surveillance as well as high data-rate communication over short range for personal are...
متن کاملDual-band Printed Dipole Antenna Array for an Emergency Rescue System Based on Cellular-phone Localization
This paper describes our contribution in the RNRT project called LUTECE, dedicated to the emergency localisation of cellular phones. This contribution takes place in the field of antennas, with the development of two biband systems : a directive array for the emission part, and a circular array of five elements with separated outputs for the receiving part. Different evolutions of these antenna...
متن کامل2.45 Ghz High-gain Electrically Small Antenna with Composite Right/left-handed Ladder Structure
Electrically small antennas are needed to further lower the cost of wireless elements. However, the antenna gain is constrained to the Harrington limit, while the impedance matching and directivity characteristics deteriorate in electrically small antennas. Using a dipole antenna loaded with a left-handed ladder structure is a promising technique for reducing the size of antennas. In this lette...
